'Dhruva' is an action thriller directed by stylish maker Surender Reddy starring mega power star Ram Charan. This movie that came out in 2016 not only became a blockbuster at the box office, but the success track added the cherry on top of the pile till then. It is known that this movie is an official remake of Tamil super hit movie 'Thani Oruvan'. But now after 8 years the sequel of the original movie 'Dhruva' is coming. The makers officially announced the release of 'Thani Oruvan 2' on Monday.

'Thani Oruvan' is a Tamil film directed by his brother Mohan Raja starring Ravi 'Jayam'. In this Nayanthara played the heroine, while typical actor Arvind Swamy played the role of the villain. The movie released in theaters on August 28, 2015 and became a huge success. Director Mohan Raja announced the project 'Thani Oruvan 2' yesterday, when the film completed 8 years.
