Rahul Sipligunj Booked in Vizag Over Alleged Threats, Harassment

Singer Rahul Sipligunj, known for the Oscar-winning Naatu Naatu from RRR and as the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu 3, has been named along with 11 others in an FIR registered in Visakhapatnam, following a complaint by a young woman over an alleged marriage dispute.

According to the complaint reported by Hindustan Times, the woman alleged that Karpurapu Rahul Reddy, identified as Sipligunj’s brother-in-law, had approached her under the pretext of marriage and later allegedly threatened to leak private photographs and videos.
Allegations Against Rahul Sipligunj
The complainant has also alleged that Rahul Sipligunj threatened her and forced her to record a video statement. The contents and circumstances surrounding that alleged statement have not been publicly established.
Police registered the FIR at MVP Police Station in Visakhapatnam, invoking provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Information Technology Act.
