The controversy around NEET has intensified further after student organisations AISF and AIYF expressed solidarity with protesting students and demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The organisations accused the government and the National Testing Agency of failing to ensure a fair and transparent examination process.
Student protests have been growing across multiple states over concerns related to exam management, delays, alleged irregularities, and pressure on aspirants.
AISF and AIYF said students are facing extreme stress, uncertainty, and mental pressure because of repeated controversies surrounding national entrance exams.
The groups also criticised what they called the “commercialisation” and “centralisation” of education through high-pressure competitive exams.
The demand for accountability has now become a larger political issue, with opposition parties and student bodies increasingly questioning how national exams are being conducted.
Many students online have also shared frustration over exam pressure, coaching culture, and lack of trust in the system.
The NEET debate has once again opened larger conversations about education reform, mental health, and fairness in competitive examinations.
Why This Matters
For millions of students, NEET is not just an exam.
It decides careers, financial sacrifices, family expectations, and years of preparation.
That is why even small controversies quickly become national issues.
