A 21-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her live-in partner following a quarrel in Hyderabad’s Shaheennagar area on Sunday night, August 16.

The incident took place in Bismillah Colony, where the woman, identified as Rehana, had reportedly been living with the accused, Salam, for around a year. Both were originally from Bihar.
Quarrel Turns Fatal
According to police, the couple got into an argument on Sunday night.
During the quarrel, Salam allegedly attacked Rehana with a knife, killing her at the spot.
Body Allegedly Put In Gunny Bag
Police said that after the killing, the accused allegedly placed Rehana’s body inside a gunny bag and fled from the scene.
After receiving information about the incident, police reached the house and recovered the body.
Police Launch Manhunt
Rehana’s body was shifted to a mortuary for postmortem examination.
Senior police officials also inspected the scene as part of the investigation.
A case has been registered, and police are trying to trace and apprehend Salam.
Investigation Underway
Police have not yet disclosed what specifically triggered the quarrel.
Further details are expected as investigators examine the circumstances surrounding the killing and continue efforts to locate the accused.
