Shubhdeep shares his name with his late elder brother, Sidhu Moose Wala, whose birth name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu.
Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur introduced their younger son publicly in November 2025 through a family photograph and an emotional video featuring memories of Sidhu Moose Wala.
