Banjara Hills Fire: Over 25 People Rescued, No Casualties Reported

More than 25 people were rescued after a fire broke out at a building on Road No. 11 in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills, opposite CARE Hospital, during the early hours of Saturday, August 8.

The fire originated in the cellar of the building, where a wine shop was located.
Fire and HYDRAA Teams Rush to Spot
After receiving information about the incident, personnel from the Fire Department and HYDRAA Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency rushed to the location and brought the blaze under control.
Emergency teams successfully evacuated more than 25 people from the affected building.
No Loss of Life
Officials confirmed that no deaths were reported in the incident.
Authorities are still assessing the extent of property damage caused by the fire.
Cause of Fire Under Investigation
The exact cause of the blaze has not yet been established.
An official told that investigators are examining both the cause of the fire and the total property loss.
The incident occurred in one of Hyderabad’s busy commercial and residential areas, close to CARE Hospital on Banjara Hills Road No. 11.
