Three Months to Find the Ruby

According to reports, jewellers spent nearly three months searching for the central ruby because fewer than 0.1% of rubies reportedly meet the required quality standards.

The ring then took more than 256 hours to complete, with 131 pairs of skilled hands reportedly contributing to its intricate craftsmanship. (The Indian Express)

An Intimate Wedding Celebration

Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt tied the knot through a registered marriage at the actor’s Pali Hill residence in Bandra, Mumbai, on July 6, 2026.

The ceremony was kept private, with only close friends, family members and the couple’s children in attendance.

Aamir’s son Azad Rao Khan and Gauri’s son Quinn served as ring bearers during the ceremony, adding a personal family touch to the celebration. (The Indian Express)

Gauri’s Understated Bridal Look

Gauri chose a custom Sabyasachi ensemble featuring delicate white floral embroidery, paired with a sheer dupatta and layered polki jewellery accented with emeralds.

Instead of traditional bridal red and heavy embellishments, she opted for muted tones, natural makeup and a relaxed fishtail braid decorated with white flowers. (The Indian Express)

The rare ruby ring has since emerged as one of the most talked-about details from the couple’s understated wedding.
