🚨 Voter Scam or Technical Glitch? Rahul Gandhi’s Big Bomb on EC Over Karnataka’s 'Vote-Chori'!

TL;DR 🧠

Rahul Gandhi has made serious allegations about mass voter deletions in Karnataka’s Aland constituency. He claims over 6,000 fake voter deletion forms were submitted using mobile numbers from outside the state, and through software — clearly pointing to a planned attempt to manipulate the electoral rolls. Many deletions were done at odd hours, with crazy speed, and targeted Congress-supporting areas. He accused the Election Commission of not cooperating with Karnataka CID, which had requested data for over 18 months. But the EC denies all these charges, calling them baseless. So who's telling the truth? Let’s break it down.

🗳️ What Rahul Gandhi is Saying

In a press conference, Rahul Gandhi claimed that 6,018 voter deletion requests were submitted in the Aland constituency. Out of these, only 24 were genuine. The rest, he said, were fake — submitted using mobile numbers from outside Karnataka.

Even more suspicious, some of these forms were submitted within seconds of each other, even at odd hours like 4 AM. Rahul alleged that this couldn’t have been done manually and pointed to a software-driven operation that targeted areas where Congress had strong voter bases.

🔍 Evidence He Shared

Rahul pointed to cases like:

  • Two deletions filed within 36 seconds

  • A woman named Godabai allegedly had her voter info used without her knowledge

  • Submissions made at 4:07 AM

  • Repeated use of non-local mobile numbers

He said these signs clearly show a coordinated effort, not random errors. He also claimed that the Karnataka CID wrote 18 letters over 18 months to the Election Commission, asking for IP logs, OTP records, and more — but got no proper response.

📡 EC’s Counter-Claim

The Election Commission has dismissed all these allegations, calling them baseless and incorrect. They said:

  • No voter deletion can happen online without proper verification

  • An FIR was filed in 2023 regarding deletion attempts in Aland, but it’s under legal process

  • They have followed due procedure and not ignored any investigation

The EC insisted that voter deletions go through strict checks and people get a chance to object.

🧐 What’s Still Not Clear?

  • How many of these fake deletions were actually successful?

  • Who operated the alleged software or app that submitted the deletions?

  • Why is there no public disclosure of logs and OTP records?

  • Why didn’t the EC respond in full to Karnataka CID’s repeated requests?

These questions raise doubts that need transparent answers.

💬 MediaFx View – From the People’s Side

Whether you vote for Congress, BJP or anyone — the right to vote is sacred. If names are being deleted through shady apps and remote logins, that’s not just fraud — that’s stealing the voice of the poor, the rural, and the working class.

If the EC has nothing to hide, why not publish the logs? Why not work with state-level investigations? This is about protecting democracy — not playing blame games.

The people deserve full transparency, especially when allegations point to manipulation in booths where the working poor vote the most.
