Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 controversy has taken a serious legal turn.
The actor has reportedly sent a legal notice to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, challenging the non cooperation directive issued against him after his exit from Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3.

According to reports, FWICE had earlier asked its members not to work with Ranveer Singh on any project. The move came after a complaint linked to Excel Entertainment, which alleged that the actor walked out of Don 3 close to the film’s shoot schedule.
Ranveer has now pushed back legally, questioning the directive and taking the dispute towards court. Reports say FWICE will have to respond to the notice as the matter moves into a legal process.
The controversy has also triggered debate inside Bollywood. Several industry voices have questioned whether a film workers’ body can issue such a strong non cooperation call, especially when it can affect someone’s livelihood and future projects.
The bigger issue is no longer just about Don 3. It is now about power, contracts and who gets to decide working rights in the film industry.
For fans, the update adds more uncertainty around Don 3, a film that already had massive expectations because of the legacy of the franchise and Ranveer stepping into one of Bollywood’s most iconic roles.
Whether the dispute gets settled privately or continues in court, one thing is clear. The Don 3 row has now become one of Bollywood’s biggest industry controversies of the year.
