🎬 Karan Johar Praises SS Rajamouli's Conviction Over Logic in Filmmaking! 🎥🔥

TL;DR: Bollywood's Karan Johar lauds director SS Rajamouli for prioritizing conviction over logic in his blockbuster films like "RRR" and "Baahubali." Johar emphasizes that a filmmaker's unwavering belief can captivate audiences, even if the storyline defies logic.

Hey movie buffs! 🎬 Guess what? Our very own Karan Johar recently spilled some beans about what makes films like "RRR" and "Baahubali" such massive hits! 🌟

In a candid chat on Komal Nahata's YouTube show, Game Changers, KJo highlighted that it's not always about logic in movies; sometimes, it's all about the vibe! 😎

He said, "Conviction is key. If you analyze the journey of top filmmakers, you’ll find that the biggest hits are rooted in belief. Logic doesn’t always matter in a film. Take Rajamouli sir’s movies, for example—where is the logic? You don’t see it. What you do see is conviction. And when conviction leads, the audience follows."

Karan believes that when a director is super confident about their story, the audience can't help but get hooked, even if the plot's a bit wild. 🎢

He also pointed out flicks like "Animal," "RRR," and "Gadar," saying, "Look at the biggest blockbusters—whether it’s Animal, RRR, or Gadar. These films are made with conviction."

Remember that epic scene in "Gadar" where Sunny Deol takes down a bunch of baddies with just a hand pump? 💪KJo thinks that's pure conviction in action!

He added, "If you can take down a thousand people with a single hand pump, that’s conviction. Anil Sharma believed in Sunny Deol’s strength, and that belief translated onto the screen."

Karan's takeaway? Filmmakers should trust their gut and not overthink what the audience might want. 🤔He said, "The problem arises when you start doubting yourself, overanalyzing audience expectations, and focusing too much on logic."

On the work front, KJo's gearing up for his next big release, "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari," featuring Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf. 🎥Mark your calendars for April 18, 2025! 🗓️
