The high-profile #KapoorFamily drama is getting spicier every day š¶ļøš„. This time, itās not about Bollywood glamour š but about crores of rupees š°, disputed wills š and courtroom twists āļø.
š The Delhi High Court recently corrected its order in the ongoing estate battleĀ of late businessman Sunjay Kapur. The Court struck off the appearance of Mandhira Kapur, Sunjayās sister š©, after finding out that she was never officially made a party in the suit! š« This means her lawyerās name was wrongly included earlier, and now itās been deletedĀ from the record š.
The case itself was filed by none other than Sunjay Kapurās children with actress Karisma KapoorĀ ā Samaira and KiaanĀ š§š¦. The kids are fighting their stepmother Priya Kapur, who is claiming the entire personal estate of Sunjay based on a āwillā dated 21 March 2025Ā šļø.
But hold on āā the kids allege that this will is totally fake and forgedĀ š±. They say it popped up weeks after Sunjayās death (on 12 June 2025) and was never even registered šļø. For them, itās clear #ForgeryVibes āļøš«.
Priya Kapur, however, is standing firm šŖ. She argues that just because a will is unregistered doesnāt mean itās invalid ā. She also throws in a big claim ā that the kids already got access to ā¹1,900 croreĀ š² through the RK Family Trust. Now the Delhi High Court has stepped in like a referee š„. The judges have asked Priya Kapur to reveal all of Sunjayās assetsĀ ā both movable like cash, shares, jewellery š, and immovable like houses š and land š¾. Basically, no hiding wealth! š
As for Mandhira Kapur, her lawyerās sudden ādisappearanceā from the case means sheās no longer part of the courtroom battle š§āāļø. Unless she files a proper application to be added, she cannot interfere in the proceedings. So the fight is now mainly between Priya Kapur vs. Karismaās kids āØ.
This case has all the masala of a movie š¬ ā rich family drama, a contested will, step-relations fighting, and a court deciding who gets what share of crores šø. But beyond the glamour, it shows how the super-rich still fight over property like ordinary families š¤·.
