đ The Delhi High Court recently corrected its order in the ongoing estate battle of late businessman Sunjay Kapur. The Court struck off the appearance of Mandhira Kapur, Sunjayâs sister đ©, after finding out that she was never officially made a party in the suit! đ« This means her lawyerâs name was wrongly included earlier, and now itâs been deleted from the record đ.
The case itself was filed by none other than Sunjay Kapurâs children with actress Karisma Kapoor â Samaira and Kiaan đ§đŠ. The kids are fighting their stepmother Priya Kapur, who is claiming the entire personal estate of Sunjay based on a âwillâ dated 21 March 2025 đïž.
But hold on ââ the kids allege that this will is totally fake and forged đ±. They say it popped up weeks after Sunjayâs death (on 12 June 2025) and was never even registered đïž. For them, itâs clear #ForgeryVibes âïžđ«.
Priya Kapur, however, is standing firm đȘ. She argues that just because a will is unregistered doesnât mean itâs invalid â. She also throws in a big claim â that the kids already got access to âč1,900 crore đČ through the RK Family Trust. But sources close to the children say they never actually received that money in hand đ ââïžđ ââïž.
Now the Delhi High Court has stepped in like a referee đ„. The judges have asked Priya Kapur to reveal all of Sunjayâs assets â both movable like cash, shares, jewellery đ, and immovable like houses đ and land đŸ. Basically, no hiding wealth! đ
As for Mandhira Kapur, her lawyerâs sudden âdisappearanceâ from the case means sheâs no longer part of the courtroom battle đ§ââïž. Unless she files a proper application to be added, she cannot interfere in the proceedings. So the fight is now mainly between Priya Kapur vs. Karismaâs kids âš.
This case has all the masala of a movie đŹ â rich family drama, a contested will, step-relations fighting, and a court deciding who gets what share of crores đž. But beyond the glamour, it shows how the super-rich still fight over property like ordinary families đ€·.
