Ram Charan’s much-hyped sports action drama Peddi has received official approval from the Andhra Pradesh government for ticket price hikes and special premiere shows ahead of release.
The film will have paid premiere shows across Andhra Pradesh on June 3 from 8 PM onwards. For these special screenings, ticket prices have been fixed at ₹600 including GST.
For regular shows starting June 4, ticket prices have been increased by ₹100 in single-screen theatres and ₹125 in multiplexes. This means Peddi tickets will cost around ₹247 in single screens and ₹302 in multiplexes during the first phase of release. The revised pricing will remain in effect for 10 days.
The government has also permitted five shows per day during this period, giving fans more opportunities to catch the film on the big screen.
The movie has already built massive hype among fans, and the ticket hike decision signals strong confidence in its box office potential. If the film delivers on expectations, Peddi could become one of the biggest Telugu openings of the year.
