Yash–Kiara’s “Tabaahi” Chemistry Wins Fans, but Some Ask: “Where Is the Plot?”

The first song from Yash and Kiara Advani’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been released.

Titled “Tabaahi,” the romantic track shows the lead characters in an intense and obsessive relationship. The video features dramatic locations, including a church, circus, beach, car and carnival. The song is sung and composed by Vishal Mishra. (Hindustan Times)

Many viewers praised Yash and Kiara’s chemistry, bold visuals and performances, saying the song appears sensual without becoming crude. However, others criticised the focus on intimate scenes and questioned whether the film has a strong storyline. (Hindustan Times)

Directed by Geetu Mohandas and written by Geetu and Yash, Toxic also stars Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria. The film is scheduled to release on August 26, 2026. (Hindustan Times)
