Climate activist and education reform advocate Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike has become one of the central points of the protest.

After his health concerns increased, Wangchuk was shifted from Safdarjung Hospital to Medanta Hospital following court proceedings. Supporters have continued to raise concerns over his condition while calling for dialogue and resolution.

Political Leaders Join Protest Debate

The agitation gained further political attention after Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, joined protests against the police action during the CJP’s Parliament march.

Rahul Gandhi and other Opposition leaders were detained during a demonstration near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence, where they demanded accountability over the treatment of protesters and the education crisis.

Police Action and FIRs

The protest saw tensions rise during the “Chalo Sansad” march, with clashes reported between protesters and police.
