Teacher Sends Student to Buy Liquor? Shocking Incident in Gujarat School!

A government primary school teacher in Gujarat’s Gir Somnath district has been suspended and arrested after allegedly sending a Class 7 student to purchase liquor during school hours.

The incident was reported from Khapat village in Una taluka, where the teacher allegedly asked the student to bring alcohol while the child was attending school. (India Today)
Teacher Faces Police Action
The accused teacher, identified as Hareshgiri Gulabgiri Goswami, taught students from Classes 6 to 8.
According to the complaint, the teacher allegedly gave money to the student and asked him to purchase a bottle of liquor. The school principal later informed education officials, following which a police complaint was registered. (India Today)
Government Orders Immediate Action
Gujarat Education Minister Pradyuman Vaja said the matter was treated with seriousness and directed immediate action.
The teacher was suspended, an FIR was registered, and police arrested him following the complaint. A three-member inquiry committee has also been formed to investigate the incident. (India Today)

The incident has sparked concerns about the responsibility of educators and the safety of students inside educational institutions.
