Members of the Indian community and student supporters gathered outside the High Commission of India in London to express solidarity with nationwide protests demanding accountability and urgent reforms in India’s education system.
The demonstrators said students across India deserve a transparent, equitable and accessible education system that protects their future and responds effectively to their concerns.

Demand for Transparent Leadership
Protesters called for greater responsibility from those entrusted with managing the country’s education system.
They argued that officials who fail to implement meaningful reforms must be held accountable and said those unable to fulfil their responsibilities should make way for more capable leadership.
Solidarity Beyond India
The London demonstration highlighted growing support for the protests among Indians living abroad.
Participants said the demand for reform is not limited to students within India, as members of the diaspora are also calling for transparency, fairness and decisive action from the authorities.
Call for an Equitable Education System
The demonstrators stressed that India needs an education system that is accessible to all, responsive to students’ needs and prepared for future challenges.
They said reforms must focus on fairness, institutional accountability and creating better opportunities for every student.
