No More Delays! CM Revanth Reviews Kodangal Education Hub Works

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to accelerate ongoing infrastructure works in Kodangal constituency, warning that strict action will be taken against those responsible for delays.
During an inspection of the Young India Integrated Residential School and Education Hub at Hakimpet, the Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of construction and instructed officials to complete the projects within the scheduled timelines.
Mega Education Hub Under Development
The Kodangal Education Hub includes several major institutions aimed at transforming the region into an education centre.
The Chief Minister reviewed the progress of:
Engineering College
Government Medical College
Veterinary College
Nursing College
Physiotherapy College
Paramedical institutions
Student hostels
He instructed officials to submit monthly progress reports and announced that he would personally review the development every month.
Action Against Negligence
Revanth Reddy warned that officials found negligent in delaying projects would face strict action, including suspension.
He also directed authorities to complete the allotment of plots and provide title documents to farmers who gave land for the Education Hub.
Focus on Roads, Water and Rural Infrastructure
During a review meeting, the Chief Minister also discussed wider development projects in Kodangal, including:
Road connectivity to villages and tribal habitations
Drinking water security
Gram Panchayat buildings
Infrastructure improvement across villages
Officials were instructed to prepare contingency plans to prevent water shortages considering the possible impact of El Niño conditions.
Kodangal Transformation Plan
The Telangana government has been positioning Kodangal as an emerging education and industrial hub, with plans involving multiple educational institutions, technology centres and industrial development projects.
The Education Hub is expected to create new opportunities for students and improve access to higher education facilities in the region.
