The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a revival of monsoon activity across several parts of the country after a prolonged period of reduced rainfall.

Southwest Monsoon Set for Revival

The southwest monsoon, which had witnessed a temporary slowdown, is expected to regain strength in the coming days.

Meteorologists predict that the renewed monsoon activity will first intensify over Northeast India before gradually spreading towards eastern, central and northern parts of the country.

Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Expected

The IMD has warned of widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms across multiple regions.

While many areas are expected to receive beneficial showers, isolated locations may witness heavy rainfall, requiring authorities and residents to remain alert.

Relief for Rain-Dependent Regions

The monsoon revival is expected to bring relief to agricultural regions dependent on seasonal rainfall.

Farmers and local administrations are closely monitoring weather developments as improved rainfall could support crop activities and water availability.

Weather Alert Continues

With changing weather patterns and intense rainfall events becoming more frequent, the IMD has advised people to stay updated with local forecasts and follow necessary precautions during thunderstorms and heavy showers.
