šŸ„ Key verdict of High Court in replacement of medical seats šŸ„

It is known that Kaloji Narayana Rao Health University is conducting counseling for filling MBBS and BDS seats in Telangana state for the academic year 2023-24. šŸŽ“šŸ›ļø

In this context, the High Court has issued a key decision. āš–ļø The State High Court has made it clear that students who are permanent residents should be treated as locals. šŸ‘Øā€āš–ļøšŸ‘©ā€āš–ļø 3(GGG)(B) of Telangana Medical and Dental Colleges Admission 2017 rules, students should have studied for four years in Telangana before NEET exam to be considered local. šŸ“ššŸŽ“ This provision was wronged by the High Court.

It was held to be violative of Article 14 of the Constitution. 🚫 It is reminded that the Supreme Court has also given orders in many cases in the past rejecting such cases. āœļø Rule 3 (GGG)(B) is not applicable to students who are permanent residents of Telangana. šŸ“œšŸ“š But this provision cannot be completely removed. āš ļø The petitioners in this case say that they are permanent residents of Telangana. šŸ“œšŸ  Hence it directed the varsity to allot seats in local quota based on merit if they provide any certificate issued by Govt. šŸ“œšŸŽ“
