Scientists use a special instrument called LABS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) to study the south pole of the Moon. šØāš¬
It shoots a powerful laser at the surface. š„ It detects the elements based on the light emitted from it and sends the data to the scientists. š It will be analyzed by them. š The device was developed by the Laboratory for Electro Optics Systems, Bangalore. š
In the post, ISRO said, āIn-situ scientific experiments are underway.
