Hyderabad doctor caught with BMW using hidden number plate flipping mechanism

In a shocking incident in Hyderabad, a doctor was caught allegedly driving under the influence while using a BMW equipped with a hidden number plate switching mechanism to evade traffic checks.

The incident came to light during a traffic enforcement drive in Jubilee Hills, where police intercepted the vehicle and discovered the illegal modification.

In simple terms: drunk driving + fake number plate trick = serious violation.

Officials revealed that the car had a button-operated system that could instantly flip number plates, allowing the driver to switch identities and avoid detection.

Why this matters: Such modifications are illegal and pose a major threat to law enforcement, as they can be used to escape penalties, commit violations, or even more serious crimes.

The use of high-end technology in vehicles to bypass traffic rules has raised concerns among authorities, who are now likely to increase checks on modified vehicles.

The incident has also gone viral on social media, with many users comparing the mechanism to a “James Bond-style” gadget.

Police are expected to take strict action against the offender under relevant motor vehicle and criminal laws.
