🌟 What’s Happening?
Big Investment: BITS Pilani will spend an initial ₹1,000 Cr to build a futuristic AI+ Campus on 35 acres in Amaravati. This is part of a massive ₹2,200 Cr expansion called Project Vistaar.
Campus Vision: The campus will have #green🌱 buildings, IoT‑enabled systems, solar power, and modern labs to train students for the #FutureOfWork.
Academic Edge: Courses in #AI, #MachineLearning, robotics, computational linguistics, and cyber-physical systems will be offered. There will also be twinning UG degrees and co-tutelle PhD programs.
Phased Roll-Out: Phase 1 will start in 2027 with about 3,000 students. By 2030, it will grow to host over 7,000 learners, plus researchers and startup incubators.
Online Learning Boom: BITS Pilani Digital will launch 11 online degrees and 21 certificate courses, aiming to teach 1 lakh students in 5 years.
