Filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s next chapter in the popular Scam franchise is moving closer to completion, with Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga set to explore the controversial journey of Sahara founder Subrata Roy.

The series will reportedly focus on Roy’s rise from humble beginnings to building the Sahara empire, followed by the legal and financial controversies surrounding the group.
Siddharth Bodke To Portray Subrata Roy
Actor Siddharth Bodke has reportedly been chosen to play the role of Subrata Roy in the upcoming series. The makers have been working on extensive research to bring the Sahara story to the screen.
Another Real-Life Story From Hansal Mehta
The Scam franchise has previously explored major financial controversies, including the Harshad Mehta stock market case in Scam 1992 and the Abdul Karim Telgi stamp paper case in Scam 2003.
With Scam 2010, Hansal Mehta is set to revisit another chapter of India’s financial history focusing on the rise, influence and controversies surrounding Sahara India and its founder.
