After 20 Years, Thackeray Brothers Join Hands Again!

In a major political development in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray have announced a joint ‘United March’ in Mumbai on July 26, marking another public show of unity between the estranged cousins.

The march will begin from Shivaji Park and conclude at Siddhivinayak Temple, with the leaders inviting Congress representatives and Sharad Pawar-led NCP (SP) to participate.

Thackerays Call for Opposition Unity

Addressing a joint press conference, Raj Thackeray said the march would be conducted under the Tiranga, and participants have been asked not to carry party flags.

Uddhav Thackeray said he had spoken with Congress leaders regarding participation in the march and also invited Sharad Pawar to join the event.

Political Significance

The reunion of the two Thackeray leaders has attracted attention in Maharashtra politics. The cousins, who had been politically separated for years, have recently appeared together on issues concerning Maharashtra’s identity and regional interests.

The upcoming march is being viewed as an attempt to showcase opposition unity ahead of future political battles in the state.
