Actor Prakash Raj has extended strong support to the student-led Cockroach Janta Party protest, saying that a movement resembling India’s freedom struggle is emerging as young people fight for their future.
Prakash Raj, who attended the CJP protest in Bengaluru in June and later joined the “Chalo Sansad” march in New Delhi, said he would continue to stand with the students and strengthen their movement. (Hindustan Times)
“I Will Stand by Them”
Sharing a video montage of the Jantar Mantar protests, the actor said the youth of the country were fighting for their future.
He added that he would continue to support the movement, hold the students’ hands and give them strength as they demand accountability and reforms in the education system. (Hindustan Times)
Demands Education Minister’s Resignation
Prakash Raj has been vocal in demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities related to the NEET examination.
He has also met activist Sonam Wangchuk and addressed protesters at Jantar Mantar, expressing solidarity with the students’ concerns. (Hindustan Times)

The actor also criticised the silence of several prominent film personalities over the protests.
