Jasbir Singh, hailing from Mahlan village in Punjab's Rupnagar district, operated the YouTube channel "Jaan Mahal," amassing over 1.1 million subscribers. His content primarily featured daily vlogs and travel experiences. However, authorities allege that Singh's activities extended beyond content creation. He is accused of being part of a Pakistan-backed espionage network, maintaining close contacts with Pakistani intelligence operatives. 

🤝 Links to Jyoti Malhotra and Pakistani Operatives

Singh reportedly had close ties with Haryana-based YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested earlier for allegedly spying for Pakistan. Both influencers are said to have attended the Pakistan National Day event in Delhi, where they interacted with Pakistani Army officials and vloggers. Singh also maintained contact with Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, a Pakistani national and expelled official from the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi.

🕵️‍♂️ Suspicious Travels and Digital Footprints

Investigations revealed that Singh traveled to Pakistan on three occasions—in 2020, 2021, and 2024. His electronic devices contained multiple Pakistan-based numbers, now under detailed forensic scrutiny. After Malhotra's arrest, Singh allegedly attempted to erase all traces of his communications with Pakistani intelligence operatives to avoid detection.
