Vinay Kumar appointed as Indian Ambassador to Russia

Vinay Kumar, a 1992-batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, has been selected as India's next ambassador to Russia. Kumar is currently serving as the Indian Ambassador to Myanmar. Kumar is expected to take up a new assignment in Moscow soon, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a statement.
