Three Former Students Arrested After Attacking Missionary School Principal in Jharkhand

Three former students of a missionary school in Jharkhand's Khunti district have been arrested after attacking the school's principal, Father Benedict Barla. The incident occurred on the night of October 21 when the suspects broke into the school to steal cash and a mobile phone. The principal was found unconscious with serious head injuries the next morning and was taken to a hospital in Ranchi. Police recovered the stolen items from the arrested minors, who are all under 18. A fourth minor is still at large. The Superintendent of Police, Rishabh Garg, said the suspects panicked upon seeing the principal and fled. The accused claimed they had stolen small amounts from the principal before, but this time the confrontation was unexpected. The principal's condition has improved, though he remains critical and has not regained consciousness.
