Siddu Jonnalagadda created a benchmark with DJ Tillu. Tillu Gaadi's walking style, dialogue delivery and mannerisms are all well suited to the boys. That's why they weaved another story around that Tillu Gadi and brought it to the audience called Tillu Square. Everyone was surprised by the way Anupama looked in this movie. And this decision taken by Anupama, another attempt made by Siddu Jonnalagadda has worked out? Or? Let's see that.
Re-creating the magic that once happened is not an easy task. So when the sequel of 'DJ Tillu' is announced, is it possible to create that magic again? It was suspected. That pressure also fell on the movie team. That's why re-writes and re-shoots took a bit more time. But it can be said that their hard work has paid off. They were able to recreate that magic again.
There is no doubt that 'DJ Tillu' is one of the most popular characters in the last few years. Tillu's antics and words are very impressive. Keeping that in mind, the movie team has succeeded in providing the kind of entertainment that the audience expects from Tillu's character.
If you look at the story, there is nothing much to say about 'Tillu Square'. This is a movie aimed at making the audience laugh. The hero characterization is the main theme of the film, similar to 'DJ Tillu'. The first half is fun with scenes like Tillu's character introduction, Tillu-Lilly's love story and 'DJ Tillu' references here and there. The interval scene was pleasing. This time Tillu is going to be stuck in a big problem and ended the first half.
Opinions have been expressed that the dose of comedy in the second half of the movie 'DJ Tillu' has decreased a bit as compared to the first half. Keeping that in mind, this time the team seems to have focused more on the second half. The audience laughs only here and there in the first half.. They laugh more often in the second half. Tillu's one-liners and the scenes between Tillu-Lilly are laugh-out-loud. The film team has succeeded in making the audience feel that they have laughed comfortably for a while while coming out of the theater. But some scenes, 'DJ Tillu' references are too much.
Sidhu Jonnalagadda's dialogues are the main strength of the movie. It was those conversations that brought laughter in the theatres. 'DJ Tillu' was directed by Vimalkrishna and the sequel was directed by Mallik Ram. The change of director did not affect 'Tillu Square'. Mallik Ram has succeeded in capturing the soul of Tillu's character and entertaining the audience.
Technically 'Tillu Square' is superior. The songs composed by Ram Miriyala and Achu Rajamani are good. Bheem's Cicerolio's background music is impressive. Sai Prakash's camera work is impressive. Editing by Naveen Nooli is neat. The production values are good. Those who want to laugh comfortably for a while without paying attention to the story, screenplay and logic can happily go to this movie. Those who liked the movie 'DJ Tillu' will surely enjoy its sequel 'Tillu Square'.🎥✨
