Director Rajamouli, who created the visual wonder "Baahubali," often cites Amar Chitra Katha stories as his inspiration. Now, he is set to repeat this successful formula for his next global venture. Is his upcoming film with Mahesh Babu also going to be novel-based?
"Baahubali" brought to life forgotten folklore stories in a grand manner on the silver screen. Rajamouli has frequently mentioned that Amar Chitra Katha books were a major inspiration for this film. After opening the gates to the pan-India market with "Baahubali," Rajamouli seems to be using the novel formula again to enter the global movie world.
Rajamouli is gearing up to direct a forest-based action thriller starring Mahesh Babu. Reports from Mumbai media suggest that Rajamouli has acquired the rights to two English novels for this project: "Triumph of the Sun" and "King of Kings" by Wilbur Smith. While the movie might not be entirely based on these novels, itās speculated that certain scenes will be referenced from them. To avoid any legal issues in the future, Rajamouli has secured the rights in advance.
Fans are thrilled with the news that Mahesh Babu and Rajamouliās movie will include references from highly successful novels, along with Rajamouliās meticulous care in storytelling.
