As kids browse the internet, they might accidentally come across inappropriate content, which can negatively impact their mental well-being. To prevent this, here are some essential settings you can adjust on smartphones to ensure a safer browsing experience for your children. Letās find out how to do it:
Change Phone Settings:
Go to your phone's Settings.
Search for Private DNSĀ by typing 'Private DNS' in the search bar.
Select Private DNSĀ and choose Create Private DNS.
In the setup DNS box, type family.adguard-dns.comĀ and save it.
This will block all adult content on your childās phone, preventing accidental exposure.
Google Kids Space:
Google Kids Space is an excellent tool to block adult content.
Go to your phone SettingsĀ and select Digital Wellbeing.
Choose Parental Control.
This will allow you to monitor and control your childās online activity.
App Pinning Feature:
If your child needs to use only one app, you can use the App PinningĀ feature.
Go to SettingsĀ and select App Pinning.
This feature allows your child to use only the pinned app, providing a controlled environment.
