Pankaj Tripathi Thinks He'll Be More of a Ghost Than a Host at IIFA 2027

Pankaj Tripathi, known for his role in Mirzapur, is set to make his hosting debut at the IIFA Digital Awards 2027. He recently shared his thoughts on the challenge ahead, saying, "I will be more of a ghost than a host." The trio of Mirzapur actors—Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee—will host the event at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on January 22, 2027. Pankaj admitted to being nervous, noting his soft-spoken nature and lack of experience in hosting. He aims to bring a spiritual feel to the event, hoping to transform the audience's experience. The IIFA Digital Awards will be livestreamed on YouTube, marking a significant moment for the actor's career.
