🌍 Where Has It Been Detected?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identified NB.1.8.1 in travelers at airports in:

  • California

  • Washington State

  • Virginia

  • New York City

These travelers had recently visited countries including Japan, South Korea, France, China, and others. Additionally, community cases have been reported in states like Ohio, Rhode Island, and Hawaii.

Symptoms of NB.1.8.1 are similar to previous Omicron variants and include:
