📆 New Delhi/Ghaziabad, October 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the country's first rapid train (Namo Bharat). 🚄

At this time UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri also participated. 🚅 The 17 km corridor prepared in the first phase will run from Sahibabad to Duhai. 🌄 It is named Namo Bharat. This is India's first RapidX train. 🚈

📍 Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off 'Namo Bharat' from the station built in Vasundhara Sector-8, Ghaziabad. 🌆 Rapid train services for common people will start from Saturday. 🕑 The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor will cover a distance of 17 km in the first phase. 🚉

🚻 Fully air-conditioned Namo Bharat trains have seats in a 2×2 layout on both sides, ample standing space and luggage racks. 🧳 Advanced facilities like CCTVs, emergency door opening system, charging points have been provided. 🎒 These trains run every 15 minutes from 6 am to 11 pm. 🌇

🚄 National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is preparing a network of Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) in NCR, which will be connected with various lines of Delhi Metro. 🌟 It connects cities like Alwar, Panipat and Meerut to Delhi. 🌆🚈
