Mr. X Review: Arya & Gautham Karthik’s Spy Thriller Falls Short

The much-anticipated action thriller “Mr. X,” starring Arya and Gautham Karthik, has hit screens but is receiving mixed-to-negative reviews from critics.

The film, which promised a gripping spy mission narrative, struggles to maintain consistency in its execution. While the premise and performances initially show potential, the story reportedly gets weighed down by excessive action sequences and a lack of emotional depth.

Critics point out that the screenplay fails to build tension effectively, making the plot feel stretched and uneven. Despite strong screen presence from the lead actors, the film’s pacing and storytelling issues prevent it from delivering a truly engaging experience.

However, some elements like action choreography and the film’s ambitious concept have been acknowledged as positives. Still, these aspects are not enough to fully redeem the overall narrative.

“Mr. X” ultimately stands as a case of a promising idea that couldn’t translate into a compelling cinematic experience, leaving audiences wanting more from what could have been a gripping spy drama.
