In the glittering landscape of Tollywood this year, the monumental success of "Hanu Man," featuring Teja Sajja under the direction of Prasanth Varma, stands out. As the first superhero film from Telugu cinema, "Hanu Man" quickly captured a pan-India audience, setting the stage for an eagerly anticipated sequel, "Jai Hanuman."
The film has been buzzing with references to Megastar Chiranjeevi from the outset. Speculation soared with rumors that Chiru might be portraying Bajrang in the movie. Adding to the excitement, a new buzz has emerged that could enhance the film's appeal further. A massive statue of Hanuman designed for the film, which stands at the entrance of Anjanadri, is said to have been inspired by Chiranjeevi himself. The director, Prasanth Varma, supposedly drew inspiration from a still of Chiranjeevi in the movie "Stalin" to design this statue. While this claim hasn't been officially confirmed, fans and movie-goers have reportedly felt a clear resemblance to Megastar in the visuals of the statue.
Whether or not Varma has officially acknowledged this inspiration, the visual resemblance to Megastar Chiranjeevi in the statue appears to be a delightful easter egg for the fans, symbolizing that their idol is with them, both overtly and subtly.
