The clocks of Sammakka Sarakka deities on the thrones in the Magha Shuddha Punnami moon are drawing to a close. 🌞 Now all roads are leading towards Medaram. 🚶 ♂️ The forest is full of people. 🌳 Medaram fair will start from tomorrow. 🎊 Madaram has turned into a crowded place. 🏞️ Magha Shuddha auspicious times, which devotees are waiting for, have come. 🕰️ Medaram is prepared for the Maha Jatara which reflects the culture and traditions of the Adivasi. 🌿
This fair is held every two years at Medaram Kikaranyam, 110 km from Warangal. 🚗 The fair is being held from 21st to 24th of this month. 🗓️ On the first day, 21st Wednesday, at four o'clock in the evening, Saralamma from Kannepalli, Pagiddaraju from Poonugundla of Kothaguda mandal, Govindaraju from Kondai of Tadwai mandal will be brought to Gaddela and enshrined. 🎇 And on the 22nd, Sammakka is brought from Chilukalagutta and installed according to the adivasi traditions. 🌺 Devotees pay prayers to the deities on Friday. 🌼 On Saturday, the gods enter Vanapresva. 🌲 For these four days, Medaram will turn into a forest. 🌳 Starting with the arrival of Sammakka and Saralamma, the events like installation of the deities at the seats, worship of the forest deities and entry into the forest are very interesting. 🎆
This time the local minister and tribal child Sitakka made all the arrangements for the fair. 🏞️ RTC MD Sajjanar said that after the free bus scheme, a large number of women will flock to the fair and all arrangements have been made so that they do not feel any inconvenience. 🚍 People are going to the fair of forest gods. 🌳 Now the forest is full of people. 🌲
Police are giving awareness to the devotees going to Medaram at Vardhannapet bus station of Warangal district. 🚓 In the background of Maha Jatara, many instructions were given on precautions and vigilance to be taken by devotees. 📢 He explained to them the precautions to be taken mainly by the devotees along with taking care of precious things like children, ornaments and money. 🧸 On this occasion, the police and RTC staff have appealed to the devotees going to Medaram to travel in RTC buses for a safe journey and avoid accidents by going to the Medaram Jatara where lakhs of people flock. 🚔
