Ireland's Coach Confident of Historic Springboks Series Win

By MediaFx

Ireland's head coach Scott Bemand expressed confidence in his team's ability to secure a historic series win over South Africa in the WXV Global Series. Following a 40-27 victory in the first Test, Bemand believes his side can back up the win and claim the series. "We've got it in us, it's a massive challenge with the physicality and the South African environment, but for us to finish the year on a winning note would be a big point for us," he said. The second Test will take place in Cape Town on Saturday, with Ireland making two changes to their squad, including Niamh Gallagher replacing Stacey Flood at full-back. Bemand highlighted the need for an even bigger effort this week, emphasizing the physicality of the South African team and the importance of maintaining momentum from the first match.
