🛳️ A huge order has been bagged for Hindustan Shipyard in Visakhapatnam. The Defense Department has signed a contract worth Rs. 19 thousand crores. 🏭🔧 As per this contract, five large fleet support ships are to be built and delivered for the needs of the Indian Navy. ⚓🚢 So that these ships will be useful for providing fuel, water, weapons, store equipment and food to warships operating at sea. 🌊🛢️

📅 In a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs held on August 16, this decision was taken to purchase fleet support ships in order to strengthen the naval force. 📝⚙️ The central government has said that the design of each ship will be 44 thousand tons. 📏🛠️ According to the contract, they have to be built in 8 years and handed over to the Indian Ministry of Defence. 🏭🔨

🇮🇳 But this is the first time that such big ships are built in India. 🏢🔧 The Center says that with such a huge ship building sector, there will be wide opportunities for related micro and small and medium scale industries in ship building. 🏭🔧🛳️🇮🇳
