Yashasvi Jaiswal became the third youngest Indian to score a Test double hundred when he reached the milestone against England on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test on Saturday.

🏏Yashasvi Jaiswal added 21 runs to his overnight score of 179 to complete his maiden double hundred in Test cricket. Playing in the second Test against England, the southpaw showed his range of strokes in Vizag.

The Southpaw was the only Indian batter, who looked comfortable against the English spinners. Although other Indian players got starts, they failed to convert into big scores.

The 22-year-old faced 277 balls to reach his highest Test score. He hit 18 fours and 7 sixes to reach another landmark in his career.

The host nation accumulated 336/6 on Day 1 of the game. The Mumbai-based batter made his Test debut against the West Indies and scored a well compiled 171 runs in his first innings.

In his career of 6 Tests, Jaiswal’s run aggregate has crossed 600 mark, with the help of two hundreds and two fifties.He averages 70 in his first-class career. Yashasvi has played 20 matches, he has amassed more than 2300 runs.🏏✨
