Incident Overview:

In a shocking incident in Hyderabad, a bus driver assaulted a woman in a moving bus. The heinous crime occurred on Monday night. The 26-year-old woman, who works as a laborer, was traveling with her daughter from Nirmal to Pamuru in Prakasam district. She boarded a Harikrishna Travels bus on Monday night. After dinner, the main driver, Krishna, handed over the bus to a co-driver and then committed the crime.

Victim's Account:

The victim reported to the police that the driver gagged her with a bedsheet and assaulted her while the bus was moving. She was on her way from Nirmal to Pamuru when this atrocity took place. As the bus neared Medchal, she dialed 100 to alert the police. The police chased the bus and intercepted it near Tarnaka, with 36 passengers on board. The police have detained the co-driver for questioning, and a case has been registered at OU (Osmania University) police station.
