🌧️ #FloodRescue: 30 Trapped in Telangana Floods

Telangana is experiencing heavy rains, causing streams and rivers to overflow. In Bhadradri Kothagudem district, the Pedda Vagu Project received a massive inflow of water from upstream. Observing the flood situation, officials lifted three gates of the project to release water downstream. This sudden release increased the flood flow downstream, trapping 30 agricultural laborers and cattle herders in the deluge. Following orders from ministers, all were safely rescued using a helicopter. 🚁💧
