Seven companies of the Central Armed Police Force have come to the aid of the Rachakonda Police personnel in the wake of the upcoming assembly elections in Telangana state. These are the first batch of forces and soon more central forces will come. These central forces along with the Rachakonda Police personnel will organize a parade like a flag march in many constituencies.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner DS Chauhan said that preparations are being made to conduct the assembly elections in Telangana in an armed manner. Arrangements are being made without any peace and security issues. Old criminals are being bound over as part of precautionary measures. It has been mentioned that check posts have been set up at necessary places under Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. He said that intensive checks are being conducted to prevent crimes like illegal cash movement, and if cash and other items are taken without proper documents, they will be seized.

On the other hand, the Election Commission will make efforts to avoid any problems and irregularities during the statewide elections. As part of that, central forces will be deployed to provide heavy security. Earlier, if ten thousand central forces were under security all over Telangana, this time doubling it, 20 central forces have been allocated by the home department. Each company has 80 personnel from Assam Rifles Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo Tibetan Border Police Force, National Security Guards, Shashastra Seema. All these personnel will coordinate with the Telangana Police and take steps to ensure peaceful conduct of the elections.

Central paramilitary forces will not only set up such camps near the state borders to curb the smuggling of unaccounted cash, but will also set up temporary security check camps in key areas. In advance, these forces will be under security in the problem areas in a phased manner to dispel the fear of the voters by conducting flag change.🚨👮
