Crucial decision of Supreme Court on appointment of ECs 🏛️

The Supreme Court refused to stay the appointments of the two newly appointed Election Commissioners. The selection committee headed by the prime minister appointed two former IAS officers as the new election commissioners. However, the Supreme Court rejected the petition filed seeking to stop these appointments made by the committee without the CJI as it excluded the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. ⚖️
