On the day when the nomination process started in Telangana.. YSR Telangana Party chief YS Sharmila made a sensational announcement that she is withdrawing from the contest.

YS Sharmila, the president of that party said that she will unconditionally support the Congress party in the elections. Sharmila said that she withdrew from the contest because she did not want to split the anti-government vote. The ruling party BRS reacted strongly to Sharmila's statement. Minister Harish Rao commented that all the traitors of Telangana are once again coming under the guise of national parties 🤨🤔. While Telugu Desam and YSRTP parties are working for Congress.. Minister Harish has accused Janasena who opposed the formation of Telangana to have allied with BJP 🤔🏹🇮🇳.
