Stop being in Shock , yes its true.If you didn’t know, Jerry Oppenheimer is also a scholar of Sanskrit. He understood the words “I am become death” to mean . Many other scholars probably wouldn’t come up with that interpretation. There would be differences. Oppenheimer’s defense, though, is that it is most likely a poetic archaism.
