British nurse Lucy Letby (33) has been found guilty of murdering seven babies in the hospital's neonatal ward and trying to kill ten others. The deaths of newborns at the state-run Chester County Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016 have become one of the worst in UK history. Lucy Letby, who was working as a nurse in the hospital's neonatal ward at that time, has been registered by the police as having murdered eight babies and attempted to end ten more.
Letby, who was arrested and released on bail several times in this case, was found guilty by the Chester Crown Prosecution Service Court. The accused, Lucy Letby, was charged with injecting sick or premature babies with air, feeding them too much milk, and poisoning them with insulin. Dr. Ravi Jayaram, a consultant of Indian origin, was among the hospital doctors who complained about her to the police. On this, Jayaram said, 'If those children were alive now, they would have gone to school'.
