Hey everyone! So I’ve been thinking about jumping back into CS2 after skipping a bunch of updates. I used to grind CS:GO nonstop, but CS2 felt super weird at launch. Anyone still playing it, or has everyone moved on to Valorant by now?

G’day, I totally get why you’re torn — I’ve bounced between both over the years. I rebooted my setup, jumped into CS2 after a long break, and honestly the old maps felt nostalgic but some mechanics still felt odd. So I took a break, looked for something else to do in downtime, and found https://play-jonny-casino.com. Started with small bets (a few losses), then one spin popped off and it lifted my spirits. Since then, it’s become my casual unwind when neither shooter is hitting right.
Hi, everyone! I'm usually indifferent to gambling, but plinko casino pleasantly surprised me. There are no complications here—you launch the ball and see what happens. I really liked that feeling of unpredictability. I won some good prizes a few times, and it put me in a great mood. It's a light, fun game with no stress. It's really worth trying, especially if you're looking for new experiences.
Yup, custom servers are back with a vengeance. KZ, surf, even some classic zombie escape mods.
Let us know how it goes after a few rounds — always fun hearing “first match back” stories 😄
Haha alright, I’m officially reinstalling CS2 tonight. If I get insta-dinked 10 rounds in a row, I’m blaming you guys 😂
I kinda miss surf maps too — are those still around?
Oh nice, I’ll check it out before the Major this weekend. I usually end up watching streams while grinding DM anyway 😁And yeah, I noticed fewer obvious cheaters lately, so maybe VAC Live is doing its thing.
Yeah, they launched something called VAC Live earlier this year. It’s supposed to detect cheats in real time. Not perfect, but definitely better than what we had in CS:GO days.
Also, if you’re into watching matches or placing the occasional bet, I’ve been using this platform that gives real-time match info and streams — here are the details if you're curious. Interface is clean and it's not spammy like most others.
That’s exactly what kept me away tbh. I got tired of spending half a match guessing if that guy with 98% headshot rate was legit 😅Did they ever roll out that AI-based VAC everyone was talking about?
Yeah same. Valorant has its moments, but sometimes it feels more like I'm playing League with a gun 😂CS2’s definitely improved, though I wish they’d fix MM. Cheaters still show up way too often unless you play on FACEIT or private lobbies.
Still playing CS2 here! It was rough early on, but the recent patches actually made it feel more solid. Smokes are dynamic now (finally) and movement feels tighter. For anyone catching up, here’s a decent breakdown of what CS2 changed:👉 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter-Strike_2
I tried Valorant too, but honestly, the hero abilities just aren't my thing. CS2 still feels more "pure" to me.
