Rain Alert Upcoming Showers Across Telugu States!

The weather in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has taken a dramatic turn. From scorching heat just days ago, recent heavy rains have brought cooler conditions to both states. Amidst this change, the Meteorological Department has announced that both AP and Telangana are set to experience more rains—two days in AP and four days in Telangana, influenced by the cyclonic effects from Tamil Nadu.

Hyderabad's Meteorological Department has noted the strong expansion of these effects across the Telugu states. Light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by wind speeds reaching 40 to 50 km per hour, are expected. Currently, districts across both states have already started witnessing rainfall. Places like Kodumur in Kurnool district faced storms with thunder and strong winds, causing damage to structures. Similarly, areas in Guntur district saw rainfall, providing relief from the relentless heat and humidity of the past weeks.

In Hyderabad, suburbs like Kukatpally, Nizampet, Quthbullapur, Shamshabad, and Rajendranagar have seen rainfall since morning, leading to a cooler atmosphere. Just four days ago, Hyderabad was hit unexpectedly by a torrential downpour, and with the possibility of more heavy rains, the GHMC has been put on alert.
